The MBA is pleased to announce that registration is open for the 2023/2024 Madison Youth Recreation Basketball Season.

Registration for the MBA 2023-2024 recreation and travel season is currently open on the MBA website (madisonhoops.com). Cost of registration is $175 per athlete for recreation only. Registration will remain open until December 1st. All recreation players will receive a practice jersey at the first session that is to be worn at all sessions throughout the year.

Note:  All players who intend to tryout for Travel basketball must register for Recreational basketball. Cost for participation in the Travel Basketball program will be an additional $275 which includes the costs/expenses for tryouts.

Multiple MBA Registrations this Year 

• Rec Registration: Available now for all players grades 1^st through 8^th.  Any players in grades 4 through 6 who wants to play travel will be required to play recreation.
• Coaches Registration: Available now, required for all Travel coaches, Recreation coaches, and assistants who participate on the courts.

Recreational sessions will tentatively begin mid-December depending upon age and continue Saturdays and Sundays through early-March.

Travel Basketball
Travel basketball is another important aspect of our program.  Players in grades 4^th through 8^th who sign up for Recreation, may choose to try out for one of our many travel teams. No one is obligated to play in the travel program. The travel teams are for players who have begun to develop a skill level necessary for this type of competition against other towns.
